LPN Charge Nurse - AM / PM

Job Description

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to fill the role of Charge Nurse at our facility in Rome, GA. The LPN Charge Nurse will be responsible for overseeing nursing staff, coordinating patient care, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards during their shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing activities during assigned shift.
• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to nursing staff as appropriate.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in training and mentoring nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license in the state of Georgia.
• Proven experience as an LPN Charge Nurse or similar leadership role.
• Strong clinical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Shift Availability

• Day Shift: 7am - 7pm
• Evening shift: 7pm - 7am
