This newly created position will report directly to the CFO and is an amazing opportunity for a hands-on accounting/bookkeeping professional who wants to roll up his/her sleeves to progress to the next level in a dynamic and energetic creative agency environment. The role of the Bookkeeper/Accountant is essential to timely and accurate reporting and operations, and an integral part of the team as the agency embarks on growth and expansion, both domestically and internationally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Accounts payable: Vendor onboarding and maintenance, invoice processing and check preparation
● Journal entries (P/R, expenses)
● Monthly bank recs and analyses
● Client onboarding, billing, collections
● Monthly corporate credit card reconciliations and G/L coding
● Assist in monthly Closes, with account analyses
● Make deposits
● Run reports from time tracking software
SKILLS/CORE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED/PREFERRED
● Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
● Quickbooks or accounting software experience required
● Experience in a services agency/environment highly desirable
● Experience with Accounts payable, billing, and collections required
● Foreign currency experience helpful
● Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
● Effective interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
● Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
● Pro-active, assertive, solution oriented and attention to detail
● Flexible, able to work under pressure and changing priorities
● Workday is 9-5:30 and commits to 5 days per week and hours sufficient to cover responsibilities to clients and team.
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/PREFERRED
● Bachelor’s Degree – Accounting, Business Administration highly desirable
● 2-5 years of experience
