We are seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Accountant to take ownership of our day-to-day accounting operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoys managing the full accounting cycle — from transaction entry and reconciliations to reporting and collections.
The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded professional, comfortable handling everything from daily transaction entry to financial reporting and collections. You must be proficient in QuickBooks Online and Excel, and possess excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
Please note: this is a full-time, in-person position (Monday–Friday). Only apply if you are able to work on-site.
Key Responsibilities
1. Transaction Management
- Record and categorize daily financial transactions in QuickBooks Online and ERP system
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all income, expenses, and financial activities
2. Reconciliation
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices and customer payments
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
4. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Provide management with timely insights into financial performance
5. Compliance & Audit Support
- Ensure adherence to accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare documentation and assist during audits or financial reviews
6. Payroll
- Accurately process payroll and maintain employee records
7. Collections
- Communicate with customers daily to follow up on open invoices and ensure timely payments
8. Documentation & Organization
- Maintain well-organized and accessible financial files and records
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online (required)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas)
- Experience in a CPA firm or family-owned business is a plus
- Strong communication skills — comfortable interacting with vendors, clients, and team members
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
