The Buyer sources, quotes, and purchases materials for production orders using MRP systems, manages supplier relationships, and ensures on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Request supplier quotes and issue purchase orders based on MRP production schedules.
- Manage vendor relationships, track lead times, and resolve delivery issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to expedite materials and resolve supply chain issues.
- Source operational items and facility maintenance supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of purchasing experience (electronics, high-tech, or contract manufacturing preferred).
- Experience using MRP systems (NetSuite preferred).
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and Microsoft Office skills.
Salary : $30 - $35
