$126,710.00 - $188,840.00 Annual
Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. What You Will Do
- Manage framework for multiple related projects submission, review, vetting with key functional stakeholders, and partner with senior leadership representatives to review and confirm strategic and financial alignment.
- Directs and manages project managers and others within a program, or acts as an individual contributor on managing program and associated processes.
- Assures appropriate communication and coordination with business sponsors, program or project owners and project team members to facilitate understanding of program and project goals. Organizes and leads quarterly ad-hoc sessions to provide program and project information to the Steering Committee for strategic decision making.
- Responsible for charters, schedules, and business cases with respect to completeness and understandability and assures submissions and updates follow the appropriate governing processes. Provides guidance and expertise in issue management and resolution.
- Partners with cross-functional teams to align on processes, budgets, and other data. Begin to pave the way for standardization where appropriate and necessary.
- Performs as an experienced and proficient Change Lead in the organization as they deliver programs, projects and products and adopt changes related to new products and process/system updates.
- Identifies and implements process improvement needs to actively work toward advancing processes within Investments.
- Manages completion of special projects as they arise and performs other duties, as assigned.
Education and Experience
Required
- Bachelor's degree
- 12 years’ experience in program or project management or equivalent experience, including experience in the financial services industry
- Hands-on experience in managing complex business and technical programs and projects
- Organizational Change Management and Process Improvement experience
- 5 years in investments or investment operations
- Reinsurance industry knowledge
- PMP, Agile Certification or other relevant professional designation
- Six Sigma or process improvement training or certification
- Organizational Change Management certification

- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Advanced project and program management skills
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies; experience blending components of both disciplines when appropriate
- Advanced ability to comprehend and interpret business case documents
- Advanced ability to identify gaps in business processes, then perform analysis and create plans to improve the processes
- Advanced people management skills, demonstrating an ability to lead, mentor and develop others
- Ability to quickly learn and understand the business of RGA Reinsurance
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to convey business terminology that is meaningful and well-received
- Highly advanced problem-solving skills

- Highly advanced persuasion and negotiation skills when working with internal/external customers
- Familiarity with common investment project domains data/reporting, platform enhancements, workflow/process changes
- Intermediate Visio experience
- Ability to organize, plan and execute working and training sessions
- Reliable and analytically precise, takes ownership of assigned tasks and consistently delivers accurate, timely results in a liquidity-critical environment.
- Eager to learn, actively seeks to build technical or business knowledge of investment cash flows and forecasting methodologies across asset classes.
- Clear communicator, able to ask questions, escalate issues, and provide status updates in a professional and timely manner.
