The Director, Investment Business Analysis is responsible for leading day-to-day business analysis delivery across investment initiatives and owning execution quality within assigned programs or portfolios. This role ensures business requirements, process design, and solution validation are developed with rigor and aligned to investment operating needs. The Director partners closely with Investment stakeholders and Technology delivery teams to drive clear outcomes, manage delivery risk, and support successful adoption.

$107,060.00 - $159,390.00 Annual
Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. The Director partners closely with Investment stakeholders and Technology delivery teams to drive clear outcomes, manage delivery risk, and support successful adoption.
What You Will Do
- Lead business analysis execution across assigned investment initiatives, ensuring requirements are complete, accurate, and governed.
- Manage requirements elicitation, documentation, traceability, and approval processes across investment workflows, data, and reporting.
- Lead business process modeling and improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, controls, and scalability.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Investment stakeholders and Technology delivery teams for assigned initiatives.
- Support solution walkthroughs, UAT coordination, and business sign-off to confirm solutions meet business intent.
- Assess business impacts of process and technology changes and support readiness, training, and adoption activities.
- Ensure alignment of requirements with Technology, Data, and Architecture standards and delivery plans.
- Actively manage scope, dependencies, and risks related to requirements quality and delivery readiness.
- Provide clear status reporting and issue escalation to Executive Directors and delivery leadership.
- Lead, mentor, and performance-manage business analysis team members, reinforcing accountability and execution discipline.
Education and Experience
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in investment operations, business analysis, or technology delivery within an insurance company, asset manager, reinsurer, or institutional investment organization.
- 3 years of experience leading teams or workstreams within large initiatives.
- Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, PMP, CBAP, or equivalent.
Skills and Abilities

- Strong experience translating investment business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
- Demonstrated capability in business process documentation, analysis, and optimization within investment operations.
- Experience supporting technology and data delivery initiatives, including testing and implementation activities.
- Working knowledge of investment systems, data structures, and reporting processes.
- Hands-on delivery leader with a strong focus on execution quality and follow-through.
- Effective partner to Investment and Technology stakeholders with clear communication skills.
- Sound judgment in managing priorities, scope trade-offs, and delivery risks.
- People leader who develops talent, provides coaching, and fosters ownership and continuous improvement.
