What are the responsibilities and job description for the STAFF ACCOUNTANT position at REINKE MANUFACTURING?
Under the general direction of the Director of Finance and Financial Controller, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for the day to day interactions and billing support of ReinCloud dealerships and customers while creating and maintaining accurate business records for the ReinCloud Division. This individual will also support the accounting department by serving as a secondary resource for key accounting and administrative tasks during staff absences, peak workloads, or emergencies. Will collaborate and work closely with finance, engineering, service and other departments in performing job duties.
• Serves as primary contact for the ReinCloud Billing Hotline (both phone and email).
• Is responsible for review and finalizing of ReinCloud subscription invoices.
• Ensure subscription cancellations as communicated by dealers or customers are accurately processed in both the ReinCloud and Stripe platforms.
• Assists with the collections process by preparing and distributing past due notices by examining customer account information and payment history.
• Personally handles various billing or accounting correspondence, inquiries and requests while representing the company to dealers, their customers and sales staff in a professional manner.
• Prepare basic monthly financial reports and spreadsheets.
• Reviews and recommends ReinCloud billing policies and procedures based on dealer and customer feedback.
• Provide backup support for daily accounting operations.
• Provide backup support for accounts payable and payroll processing.
• Performs other related duties as directed by Supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Post high school formal education in Business or a related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated practical experience with business and/or account administration is preferred
