Reinhardt University is currently accepting applications for an Online & Graduate Enrollment Success Advisor for the Admissions Department.
Position Summary:
The Enrollment Success Advisor is a critical member of the online and graduate enrollment team. This position works directly with new and returning students, admissions/enrollment counselors, program coordinators, and faculty to promote enrollment success and persistence in the University’s programs. This position guides students through the academic program and tracks student progress in courses by developing and implementing intervention strategies for academic success. This role supports the student’s academic/personal goals through collaboration with university departments to help remove barriers for persistence, retention and graduation.
Minimum Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in business, counseling, education, liberal arts, social science, or related field; 1-2 years of work experience in an academic setting, or academic, student advising or coaching in a college or university setting.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions:
- Provides superior customer service to students through proactive outreach with consistent, scheduled, strategic communications in tele counseling, email & text.
- Provides individualized support and academic success counseling for newly admitted students, continuing students and returning students while tracking student course participation and success.
- Register, onboard and serve as the orientation leader to transition newly admitted students into the online platform to set students up for success through barriers, support and resource identification.
- Works collaboratively with Pharros system and the Dean of Enrollment Success for Enrollment Success tracking.
- Actively communicates with students and other departments to resolve issues and remove future barriers.
- Collaborates with University departments including Registrar, Financial Aid, Business Office, Academics, Student Affairs, Admissions, and Information Technology to support Enrollment Success/retention and create efficient, effective communication strategies as a student liaison with all departments.
- Advises students of academic requirements in conjunction with program coordinators and faculty.
- Advises students on university policies and procedures, especially pertaining to coursework requirements, attendance policies, and enrollment procedures.
- Monitors and reports on student participation, course drops, withdrawals, and administrative withdrawals.
- Performance measurements include call volumes, student and faculty engagement volume, persistence rates, retention rates, graduation rates and enrollment goals set forth by the University.
- Other duties assigned by the AVP Enrollment Management to support and meet enrollment and retention goals for the University.

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate complex processes and policies through phone and e-mail
- Experience working with non-traditional, online students
- Strong active listening skills
- Ability to interact and develop relationships with broad range of individuals
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Knowledge of Jenzabar higher education administrative platform
Work Environment/Physical Requirements of the Job:
General office environment, with occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds required. Must be able to sit for long periods of time working at a computer.
