Overview Of Responsibilities
- Works closely with the enterprise, ensuring training, resources, systems, and workflow are at optimal performance by implementing strategies and processes to support all services across the continuum of care.
- Works in conjunction with our Epic BFFs.
- Assists in developing implementation project plans for enhancements or upgrades to existing systems, which includes project schedules and resources.
- Creatively works with all departments in the enterprise to leverage automation, integration, and data to maximize productivity of the departments.
- Remains sensitive to needs and workload of the department as well as other areas of the enterprise.
- Ensures successful implementation of any product upgrades or enhancements.
- Assists team with determining enhancement and support priorities and appropriateness to maximize value of the organization’s resources.
- Ensures appropriate communication of projects and support initiatives across the systems’ teams and clients.
- Makes assignments for the installation and ongoing support of selected applications.
- Develops strong relationships with staff and management to ensure a team environment.
- Identifies strategic initiatives that will support training, workflow, quality, and overall results.
- Stays current with industry developments and assists other staff members with technical problems.
- Identifies educational needs of the department.
- Assists with the development and maintenance of system documentation as assigned.
- Assists with the annual preparation of capital and operating budgets.
- Prepares formal employee evaluations and conducts the evaluation interviews for all employees assigned.
- Advises the Director of Enterprise Application on the status of current projects and all major problems encountered.
- Assists the Director of Enterprise Application with the review of Employee Opinion Survey results and with the formation, implementation, and follow up of Action Plans for recommended solutions.
- Is knowledgeable of the Quality Assurance and Improvement Plan and participates in the department activities as requested.
- Performs other assignments as specified by the Director of Enterprise Application.
- Three to five years’ experience with Information Technology application development, training, and implementation in a healthcare setting, with experience in EHR systems and processes strongly preferred.
- Epic certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
