Rehabilitation Support Services in Otsego County is seeking a full-time Vocational/Educational Specialist to join our team. Position works with adults who present with complex and varied mental health issues in successfully acquiring and maintaining employment. This is a Monday through Friday day shift position with some flexibility in work hours. Duties include pre-employment training, assessments, review potential barriers to employment, develop plans, provide job development services, developing resumes, practicing interviewing skills, searching for jobs, applying for jobs, preparing for and attending interviews, following up with employers, provide job coaching, benefits advisement, off-site support and other related job duties. This position requires travel to Delaware and Chenango County on a regular basis to meet with clients. Mileage for travel is reimbursed. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
