What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Residence Counselor for Adolescent Community Residence position at Rehabilitation Support Services, Inc. (RSS)?
Rehabilitation Support Services, Inc. is seeking candidates to fill part-time, 20 hour per week, Overnight Residence Counselor positions to work in our Transition Age Youth Residence (8- bed facility) for ages 16 years to 20 years 11 months. High energy, fast paced, fun environment.
Candidate must work well in a positive, strength focused, high energy and rapidly changing environment and have good communication skills with youth, families, co-workers, and collaterals . Must be flexible and a team player. Good writing skills are vital.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to overall care and supervision of residents; daily notes related to progress, becoming medication certified, filing and scanning to electronic charts, cleaning responsibilities on the overnight, morning medications, and transportation responsibilities.
Position includes nights and weekend hours.
Requirements: High School diploma or GED, valid/active NYS driver's license and successful clearance by Justice Center and New York State Office of Children and Families Statewide Central Register Database clearance.
