Looking for flexibility while still having access to consistent therapy hours?
Rehab Strategies is growing throughout Indiana and seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team.
This is a PRN opportunity with the potential for consistent or full-time hours, depending on your availability and desired schedule.
You'll work with patients in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment, helping them regain the functional skills and independence needed to return to everyday activities and improve their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care
- Provide skilled treatment focused on improving functional independence
- Address activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Assess upper-extremity strength, coordination, range of motion, and functional abilities
- Provide adaptive equipment recommendations and training
- Develop measurable goals and monitor patient progress
- Modify treatment plans based on clinical progress and patient needs
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, physicians, families, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding strategies to maximize independence
- Participate in discharge planning and recommendations
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Active Indiana Occupational Therapist license or ability to obtain
- Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, geriatric, or post-acute experience preferred
- Strong clinical and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
