POSITION SUMMARY
The Front Desk Hospitality Specialist is the first point of contact for Regents School of Austin, embodying the school's mission through service, professionalism, and gracious hospitality. This year-round position is essential for ensuring a welcoming, secure, and efficiently run front office for all visitors, parents, students, and staff.
We are looking for two part-time people that can fill one of the shifts for this role. Each person would work 5 hours a day x 5 days a week = 25 hours a week. The two schedules will be 7:30 am - 12:30 pm and 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Note that this role also works throughout the summer.

Front Office & Communication (Hospitality & Security)
- Greet and welcome all visitors (parents, students, vendors, public) with grace and professionalism.
- Manage all campus communication channels, including courteously answering and directing phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Enforce security protocols by managing visitor sign-in/out, issuing access cards, updating badges, and tracking temporary campus access.
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
- Respond to emergency situations by notifying appropriate personnel and addressing immediate safety/security concerns.
- Manage and regulate documentation workflow effectively, including handling incoming/outgoing mail, deliveries, and front desk emails.
- Provide support to the Head of School, Admissions, and Advancement offices.
- Maintain essential campus resources (e.g., managing the package delivery room, the Admin breakroom, and managing tablecloth inventory).
- Facilitate the Calendar meeting to ensure alignment and communication across administrative departments.
- Utilize and support campus software, specifically managing Tandem software.
- Provide direct support to students needing assistance (e.g., tardy slips, early dismissals, general questions).
- Communicate courteously and effectively with parents and guardians, maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Manage the parent drawers and facilitate clear communication channels.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated spiritual maturity and a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Clear understanding of the mission of Regents
- Familiar with various computers and computer programs including Google workspace and Microsoft suite.
- Ability to work directly on a team and promote interdependence on the team.
- Confidence to meet the challenges in an educational environment
- Ability to address new challenges with creativity and decorum
- Ability to strengthen the goals of the school and implement the procedures
- Ability to safely lift up to 25lbs
