The Collaborative Pianist will be responsible for playing for all rehearsals and performances for voice students.
Essential Duties
- Play accompaniment for weekly masterclasses.
- Play accompaniment for 2-4 showcases per semester.
- Play accompaniment for end of semester juries for all voice majors and rehearsals.
- Play accompaniment for junior/senior recitals and rehearsals.
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution required; an earned degree in piano performance or collaborative piano is preferred
- A minimum of 3 years experience in accompanying solo and ensemble with excellent sight-reading skills in various styles of music is required
- A record of or potential for piano collaboration
- Prior college work experience preferred with the ability to support and collaborate with other musicians, especially undergraduate students
- Must be available for evening and/or weekend rehearsals and concerts as well as to travel with performers
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and an active Christian commitment
- Dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning
- Evidence of outstanding collaborating and performing ability
