What You'll Do
As a Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant, You Will
- Provide comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare to diverse patient populations.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
- Manage chronic conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Order, perform, and interpret appropriate laboratory tests and diagnostic studies.
- Prescribe medications and evidence-based treatments within your scope of practice.
- Provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and ongoing care for patients with substance use disorders.
- Educate patients regarding disease prevention, treatment plans, medications, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with physicians, behavioral health professionals, nursing staff, pharmacy, and other members of the care team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Follow established clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform appropriate in-office procedures based on training, competency, and scope of practice, which may include Pap smears, IUD/Nexplanon placement, biopsies, joint injections, nail removals, suturing, wart cryotherapy, and incision and drainage.

- $92,000–$105,000 annual salary
- Quarterly incentive program based on Quality and Access metrics—not RVUs
- Average annual bonus opportunity of approximately $2,000

Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current or eligible for South Carolina licensure as an APRN/Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience
- Experience or demonstrated competency in providing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient-management skills
- Ability to effectively use an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and patient-education skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care to medically underserved populations
