As a Patient Services Representative (PSR) with ReGenesis Health Care’s Mobile Health Program, you will play an essential role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting front-desk and patient access operations across our Mobile Medical Center and ReGenesis Health Care locations.

This position is ideal for someone who is customer-focused, adaptable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Mobile PSR will travel with the Mobile Medical Center to schools, community locations, corporate sites, and other designated clinical locations throughout Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union counties.

Excellent pay up to $19.00 per hour, with excellent quarterly incentives.

• Can properly utilize the electronic health record (EHR/EMR) and other computer systems to facilitate efficient and effective workflow processes.
• Accurately complete patient registration while maintaining the integrity of demographic and financial information required for clinical and billing functions.
• Research and resolve registration issues related to demographic, clinical, and insurance accuracy.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality while appropriately handling sensitive patient information.
• Schedule appointments and maintain smooth patient flow throughout the Mobile Medical Center and assigned ReGenesis Health Care locations.
• Verify insurance benefits and financial clearance for all payors and communicate estimated patient payment responsibilities.
• Ensure proper patient billing and payment collection in accordance with the Sliding Fee Scale and applicable health plans.
• Accurately process patient payments and maintain proper account posting.
• Complete applicable waiver of fee forms and payment estimate letters to facilitate payment collection.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and perform cash drawer reconciliation and deposit functions.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with patients, families, providers, and team members.
• Are comfortable traveling to various community, school, corporate, and clinical locations.
• Can adapt to changing schedules, locations, patient volumes, and service needs.
• Are willing to work occasionally in the evenings or on weekends to support Mobile Health events and community outreach activities.

To Be Considered You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in healthcare, patient access, community health, or a related field.
• Associate’s Degree in health or social sciences preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid South Carolina Driver’s License.
• CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Ability to travel throughout Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union counties.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules based on Mobile Health deployment needs, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  
  

Mobile Health Responsibilities

As a Patient Services Representative assigned to the Mobile Health Program, you will:

• Provide PSR support for the ReGenesis Health Care Mobile Medical Center, which operates as a clinical healthcare site within the community.
• Travel with the Mobile Medical Center to schools, community locations, corporate sites, and other designated clinical locations.
• Perform all applicable front-desk and patient access functions while the Mobile Medical Center is deployed, including registration, check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, payment collection, and patient communication.
• Support efficient patient flow and coordinate with providers, clinical staff, Community Health Workers, and other team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Work across multiple service lines and participate in cross-training to support Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health, Pharmacy, and other services offered through ReGenesis Health Care and the Mobile Health Program.
• Learn and follow the unique workflows, registration requirements, and administrative processes associated with each service line.
• Assist with preparing the Mobile Medical Center for daily clinical operations, including ensuring patient-facing and front-desk areas are organized, stocked, and ready for patients.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing Mobile Health schedules, locations, patient volumes, service lines, and community needs.
• Maintain the same standards of patient service, professionalism, confidentiality, registration accuracy, and compliance required at traditional ReGenesis Health Care locations.
• Provide PSR coverage and support at ReGenesis Health Care office locations when the Mobile Medical Center is not deployed.
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the overall operations and goals of ReGenesis Health Care and the Mobile Health Program.
  
  

Travel Requirements

• Frequent travel throughout Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union counties.
• Travel to schools, community locations, corporate sites, ReGenesis Health Care locations, and other designated clinical sites.
• Must have a valid South Carolina Driver’s License.
  
  

Work Hours

Part-time: Schedule may vary based on Mobile Health deployment needs. Occasional early mornings, extended days, evenings, weekends, community events, and outreach activities may be required.
