Role Description This full-time Landscaper role is an on-site position based in Franconia, NH. The Landscaper will assist in installing and maintaining gardens and landscapes, including planting, mulching, pruning, and general grounds care. Daily tasks include using hand and power tools, supporting hardscape and softscape projects, and performing routine landscape maintenance such as mowing, trimming, and seasonal cleanups. The role also involves helping with irrigation setup and adjustments, following landscape plans provided by designers, and ensuring work areas are safe, clean, and organized. Team members collaborate closely with supervisors and peers to complete projects on schedule and deliver high-quality outdoor spaces for clients.
Qualifications
- Practical skills in Landscaping and Landscape Maintenance, including routine care and upkeep of outdoor spaces.
- Hands-on experience with Gardening tasks such as planting, weeding, pruning, and soil preparation.
- Basic knowledge of Irrigation systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and water-efficient practices.
- Familiarity with Landscape Design concepts and the ability to follow design plans and layout instructions.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing.
- Comfort using common landscaping tools and equipment, with a strong focus on safety and care of tools.
- Reliable transportation to the saint J VT job site and consistent punctuality.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail; prior professional landscaping or groundskeeping experience is preferred but not required.
