Outside Sales Representative

We are looking for a passionate, goal-oriented candidate to establish new customer accounts. This candidate will be strategic in building relationships within the electrical and general contractor communities as well as various business organizations.

Duties include:

• Cold calling/ prospecting General and Electrical Contractors and Developers utilizing information from an internal database, business directories, industry ads, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
• Traveling locally throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders.
• Presentations of sales solutions to prospects at their business location to emphasize salable features.
• Create effective follow up using phone, email, or in-person approach to manage and organize territory

Candidates must have:

• Fundamental electrical and electrical equipment knowledge.
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in outside sales.
• High levels of strategic thinking, motivation and integrity.
• A strong drive to succeed through hunting and cold calling.
• Solid computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Outlook are a must.
