We are seeking a Production Supervisor for a GMP client in Mansfield, Texas (south Dallas area).
Responsibilities
- Review production plans and forecast labor needs to ensure schedules are executed efficiently and on time within a GMP-regulated environment
- Enforce company policies with a strong emphasis on food safety, GMP compliance, and workplace safety standards
- Interpret production documentation, including formulations, batch records, specifications, and work instructions, and communicate expectations clearly to line staff
- Adjust staffing, line setups, and workflows to meet changing production volumes, product mix, and delivery timelines
- Identify and implement improvements to production processes, equipment performance, and product quality, with a focus on consistency and compliance
- Troubleshoot production and quality issues in real time, working closely with operators to resolve problems and minimize downtime or waste
- Lead, coach, and motivate team members to meet daily production targets, quality standards, and food safety expectations
- Maintain accurate records including batch documentation, production logs, downtime tracking, and labor reporting
- Coordinate raw material and packaging needs, including requisitioning, verification, and proper handling in line with GMP requirements
- Establish, update, and enforce SOPs, GMP standards, and sanitation procedures, ensuring team compliance at all times
- Supervises employees in the Order Filling, Packaging and other departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or applicable certificate)
- 2-3 years of leadership experience in GMP manufacturing facility
- Familiarity with GMP production methods
- Proven track record of process improvement and team leadership
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
