Ideal Partners Staffing is currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations for a stable manufacturing company in south Fort Worth.
This position is well-suited for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment and is confident managing a large, direct labor workforce. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, results-driven, and capable of fostering accountability and continuous improvement on the production floor.
Production Supervisor Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate a team of 30–60 hourly production employees.
- Maintain consistent enforcement of company policies, procedures, and disciplinary actions.
- Promote a safe, organized, and quality-conscious work environment.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on hiring, promotions, coaching, and terminations.
- Actively lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts.
- Monitor performance metrics related to production efficiency, scrap, on-time delivery, and labor productivity.
- Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, purchasing, customer service, etc.) to support operational goals.
- Ensure employee training, cross-training, and skill development initiatives are properly executed.
Production Supervisor Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of production supervision or manufacturing leadership experience.
- Experience in sheet metal, extruded aluminum, or similar manufacturing environments preferred.
- Formal training or hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement strongly preferred.
- Strong conflict resolution and team development skills.
- High level of initiative with the ability to operate independently and make sound decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
