Design Build Firm looking for a Remodeling Production Manager to join our elite team!

OVERVIEW
The Production Manager oversees and ensures the timely delivery of superior-quality remodeling projects for clients. This role enforces strict schedule compliance, coordinates with the design and purchasing teams to maintain budget alignment, and communicates clear expectations to project managers, build teams, vendors, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will uphold the company’s values and deliver exceptional projects reflecting elevated quality, design, and timeliness.
GOALS

LEADERSHIP OVERSIGHT
- Lead and supervise project leads and field teams, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to strategic goals.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with specifications, and address challenges.
- Provide mentorship, training, and supervision to project leads, promoting adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Plan all phases of construction, from pre-construction meetings to final completion.
- Ensure proper permitting and compliance with local, state, and national building codes and safety regulations.
- Oversee project schedules, using software (e.g., Builder Trend) to track progress, alert subcontractors, and document project updates.
- Monitor budgets, timelines, and quality control plans to align with project goals.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists to resolve issues.
COMMUNICATION & REPORTING
- Serve as the main communication link between project leads, clients, and the leadership team.
- Deliver progress reports to clients, the company owner, director of operations, and lead designer.
- Address escalated client issues, providing timely resolutions through phone calls, site visits, and written correspondence.
QUALITY CONTROL & COMPLIANCE
- Ensure all work adheres to company standards, OSHA regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Conduct regular job site inspections and assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to project specifications.
ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS
- Create change orders and review and approve invoices for subcontractors and vendors.
- Prepare job logs, inspection reports, quality assurance documentation, and punch lists.
- Manage project cost controls, variance reports, and financial performance.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 10 years in construction project management, including 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proficient in construction scheduling, blueprint reading, job costing, and budgeting.
- Knowledge of construction phases, methods, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Strong organizational, time management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency with software such as Google Suite and project management tools.
WORK HOURS & EXPECTATIONS
- Availability starting at 7:00 AM, with regular site visits at least once per week per project.
- Commitment to managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion.
