What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Product Management (B1EE8A7) position at Referment?
Referment is working with a workplace financial wellbeing business that combines digital planning tools with professional guidance. Its products help employees make decisions about their money, while giving employers a financial wellbeing benefit for workforces across different countries and financial systems.
As Director of Product Management, you'll set product strategy across the employee experience and the platform capabilities behind it. The remit combines organisational leadership with hands-on work: you'll develop Product Managers and Designers while working closely with Engineering to shape solutions, make tradeoffs and carry priorities through discovery and delivery.
Reporting to the COO, you'll connect member needs, enterprise client requirements and commercial opportunities into a clear direction. A central part of the work is deciding how to measure meaningful financial outcomes, rather than treating engagement alone as success. You'll also assess where AI can improve the product and how it can support research, prototyping and the team's day-to-day practice.
The Role
Benefits, fintech or HR technology experience would be valuable. Regulated financial services, developing a Design practice, AI-powered products and scaling a Product organisation are also relevant backgrounds.
This could suit a product director or hands-on product leader who enjoys developing a team while remaining close to the decisions that shape the customer experience.
