Job Title: Tank Technician
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM or other hours based on business needs.
Description:
We are looking for a Tank Technician to join our dynamic team! As a vital part of our fuel operations team, you will will be working alongside other tank technicians assembling, cleaning and loading tanks and other equipment.
This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong background in mechanical and technical skills, and a commitment to upholding industry safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowing how to efficiently operate tools.
- Paint prepping, powerwashing and cleaning equipment.
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip forklift inspections.
- Documenting tank builds and changes as necessary.
- Forklift experience, loading and unloading equipment on flatbed trailers.
- Comfortable working at heights, specifically in man basket with safety harness.
- Able to climb, bend, push, and pull repetitively.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- At least 1 year of Forklift experience.
- Dependable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Teamwork skills
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Taking initiative on daily tasks.
- Able to lift 70lbs or more.
