Project Billing Specialist

Reeder Distributors, Inc. is seeking a detail-driven Project Billing Specialist with experience in construction or project-based billing to join our Equipment Division.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely billing while providing excellent customer support. You will serve as a key liaison between customers, sales teams, and internal departments to ensure projects are billed correctly and efficiently.

Customer satisfaction and accuracy are at the core of this position.

Location: Fort Worth (In-Office)

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams through clear, professional communication
• Prepare and process accurate, timely project invoices based on job data and contract details
• Review and update job information to ensure billing accuracy and system integrity
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to resolve discrepancies and gather required billing details
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve billing issues quickly and effectively
• Maintain consistent follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction
• Meet individual and team performance goals related to billing accuracy and turnaround time
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and communication standards

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience in construction billing, project billing, or job costing strongly preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Comfortable working across multiple systems and platforms
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Team-oriented with a proactive approach to communication and collaboration
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle a variety of personalities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma required
