Redwood Credit Union is looking for an IT Business Analyst II, who will play a key role in technology projects across Redwood Credit Union, working closely with business stakeholders and internal IT team to deliver technology and achieve strategic goals. Use understanding of business processes and technology, critical thinking skills, and ability to collaborate with a diverse set of business partners to design, develop, and deliver solutions for Members, internal team members, and the communities served.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Elicitation and Analysis:
• Partner with internal stakeholders of all levels, from front-line team members to senior leadership, to gain understanding and elicit business requirements for project scope.
• Use NPS and other sources of Member feedback to develop user requirements for public-facing systems (such as RCU website, digital banking, and loan applications).
• Analyze requirements and develop success criteria and KPIs for technical and process solutions.
• Manage requirements in multiple SDLCs, including Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall.
System Analysis:
• Conduct impact analysis of process and technical changes.
• Develop conceptual design for technical solutions.
• Partner with internal developers and vendor teams to develop detailed designs that meet requirements.
• Ensure effective security measures are in place and meet RCU and regulatory standards.
Process Analysis:
• Document, measure, and analyze as-is processes to determine pain points.
• Partner with process performers and owners to develop proposed improvements to pain points.
• Develop success metrics and monitoring procedures for quantifying improvement process improvement benefits.

Licenses and Certifications
- IIBA certification in one or more of the following areas is preferred but not required: Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP), Agile Analysis Certification (AAC), Certificate in Product Ownership Analysis (CPOA), Certified Cybersecurity Analyst (CCA), or Certification in Business Data Analytics (CBDA).
The ideal candidate has a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in computer information system, Management Information System, Project Management, or closely related field, with a minimum of three years of experience in business analysis, process analysis, system design and integration, or similar. Prior experience in programming and / or financial services is a plus.
Compensation: Base starting range: $45.00 to $59.00 per hour commensurate with experience.
Our base salary starting range is based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal peer equity.
