Responsibilities
The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may beassignedother duties.
This position may require access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). To comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants will be asked to provide specific documentation to verify a US person’s status under the ITAR and the EAR.
Work Environment And Physical Requirements
The work environment may involve a standard office setting while also incorporating elements of a production area. Employees will use standard office equipment, including computers, and must demonstrate stamina to sit or stand while maintaining attention to detail despite potential interruptions. The role may require occasional activities such as walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and bending. Vision is necessary for reading printed materials and a computer screen, while hearing and speech are essential for effective communication both in person and over the telephone. Additionally, the position may necessitate travel by air or automobile. Employees may be required to use personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coats, to ensure safety in the production environment. Employees may be able to lift up to 30 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

- Perform ongoing validation testing based onproduct requirements.
- Generate engineering and manufacturing documentation as needed (DFMEA, DVPR, Drawings, PFMEA, Work Instructions, Product Data Sheets,OperationsManuals).
- Act as theproduct expertwithinternal and externalcustomers.
- Work closely withR&D team to design,validate, and implement product ideas.
- Work with Manufacturing Engineers to develop Quality Control measures to ensure ongoing product reliability.
- Work with Global Support and Field Service Group to analyze and advise onfield corrective actions.
- Work with purchasing to select alternate parts as the supply chain shifts, orin response tochanges incustomer requirements.
- Lead products from development through manufacturing release and obsolescence.
- Execute projects as directed by senior staff
- Assistand direct junior staff as necessary
- Be self-motivated, with a drive to complete projects and document results.
- Experience with Fuel Cells,Portable Generators, or DC Power electronicsdesired
- 4-7 years’ experience in Product Development, Product Management or Product Testing
- Lifecycle analysis experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicatewithcustomers and manage deliverables, risk, and expectations.
- Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and multi-task
- Highly organized, reliable, and resourceful
- Flexible to travel to suppliers or customer locations asrequired.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- CAD (SolidWorks) experience preferred
- BS in Engineering or related field
