Portfolio Analyst

RedStream Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Portfolio Analyst to support financial and procurement operations at our client's corporate office in Bridgewater, NJ. This role is responsible for managing cost structures, supporting procurement workflows, and ensuring accurate financial tracking across projects and portfolios. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial processes, procurement systems, and cross-functional project coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor cost centers, ensuring accurate allocation and tracking of expenses
- Support general ledger setup and maintenance to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
- Oversee chargeback processes, including validation and reconciliation
- Handle end-to-end procurement activities, including:
- Purchase requisitions
- Purchase orders
- Goods receipt processing
- Final procurement actions and closeout
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support project management initiatives and financial planning
- Utilize procurement and financial tools to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy
- Assist in identifying process improvements within procurement and financial workflows
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in financial analysis, procurement operations, or a related field
- Strong understanding of cost centers, general ledger structures, and financial reconciliation processes
- Hands-on experience with procurement lifecycle activities (requisitions through final actions)
- Experience with procurement and financial tools (e.g., Zycus, BlackLine, or similar platforms)
- Solid project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with enterprise procurement systems and financial platforms
- Familiarity with process optimization and automation within procurement workflows
- Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and systems
