The Role
This is an execution-focused position. The Development Associate will support the delivery of multifamily projects from entitlement through design, construction, and stabilization. The role requires a strong technical background and direct involvement in design coordination, permitting, and construction oversight, with a particular emphasis on navigating the entitlement process in Miami.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with consultants and city officials to manage entitlement and permitting processes in Miami.
- Coordinate design development with architects, engineers, and external stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and value engineering exercises.
- Work closely with construction teams to monitor progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues.
- Track project performance and prepare updates for senior leadership and capital partners.
The Ideal Candidate
- 3–6 years of experience in real estate development, construction management, architecture, or engineering.
- Direct experience with entitlement processes in the City of Miami is highly preferred.
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to evaluate design feasibility, costs, and construction execution.
- Experience delivering multifamily or large-scale residential projects preferred.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and confident in managing multiple stakeholders.
- Motivated to grow within a private equity platform with the ability to take GP or LP positions on deals.
