A leading food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Director of Warehouse Operations to lead a highly automated, high-volume distribution operation supporting a 24/7 manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence across warehouse operations, automation, inventory management, safety, and customer fulfillment.
The ideal candidate has a proven background leading large warehouse teams within food manufacturing or food distribution and has hands-on experience with Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS).
Responsibilities
- Lead all warehouse operations for a large, automated distribution facility.
- Manage and develop warehouse leadership across multiple shifts.
- Drive performance in automation, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, shipping, and warehouse productivity.
- Oversee warehouse technology, including WMS and automated storage systems.
- Partner closely with Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and other cross-functional teams.
- Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, service, and cost.
- Manage labor planning, budgets, capital projects, and operational KPIs.
- Foster a culture centered around employee engagement, accountability, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Current Director of Warehouse Operations or a Senior Warehouse Leader from a large-scale food manufacturer or food distributor.
- Experience leading warehouse operations within food manufacturing or food distribution is required.
- Strong experience with Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS) in a highly automated warehouse environment.
- Experience leading large, multi-shift operations with exempt and non-exempt leadership teams.
- Proven success managing teams of approximately 75 employees through multiple direct-report leaders.
- Strong background with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, automation, labor planning, and continuous improvement.

Salary : $140,000 - $175,000
