What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Warehouse Operations position at Select Shades | Select Shades Eyewear Events?
Location: Norcross, GA (On-Site, 5 Days Per Week)
Select Shades LLC is a growing eyewear company operating across retail stores, e-commerce, and large-scale event gifting experiences. Through our Select Shades retail locations and Select Shades Eyewear Events division, we serve everyone from vacationing shoppers to Fortune 500 companies and global brands.
We are seeking a Director of Warehouse Operations to build and lead the systems, processes, and accountability structures that support our retail, e-commerce, and event businesses.
This is not a role for someone who simply manages daily tasks. We are looking for a leader who takes ownership, anticipates challenges before they occur, creates structure where it does not exist, and continuously improves the operation around them.
Reporting directly to ownership, this position serves as the operational backbone of a growing business and plays a critical role in ensuring our warehouse operates with consistency, accuracy, accountability, and scale.
The Director of Warehouse Operations is responsible for all warehouse movements, inventory control, fulfillment activities, and outbound shipments across the company.
This is a hands-on leadership position. While the role is responsible for strategy, systems, accountability, and team development, successful candidates must also be comfortable working directly within warehouse operations, solving problems in real time, and leading by example.
The successful candidate will build systems, establish standards, develop people, drive accountability, and ensure operational issues are identified and addressed before they impact customers, retail stores, event teams, or company leadership.
This position serves as the single point of accountability for warehouse performance.
