The Program Manager for Peer Support and Spiritual Care is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight of initiatives that promote emotional well-being and spiritual support among staff, providers, and patients. This role ensures comprehensive program delivery, continuous quality improvement, and effective collaboration across disciplines to meet the needs of caregivers and staff. The leader is responsible for 24/7 program activation and oversight to RCH’s Care for Caregiver program.
- Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.
- 1. Master’s Degree in Divinity or Theology required, or related field (Psychologist, MFT, LCSW, etc.).
- Two years of pastoral experience as clergy or chaplain.
- 5 years of progressive leadership.
- 3 years’ experience with peer support, crisis response, and training development required
- Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) with Association of Professional Chaplains (APC) preferred.
- Psychologist, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Licensed Social Worker preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Valid CA driver’s license and an automobile, with current registration and insurance, for field work required.
- MAB is required to be completed on the first day of work.
