Anesthesia Tech/LVN

Reporting to the Director of Nursing/OR, this position performs a variety of technical duties to assist the Anesthesiologist in stocking anesthesia medications, setting up anesthesia supplies and equipment, and in operating the Cell-saver. This position also assists in maintenance of anesthesia equipment and supplies and participates in the daily activities of the department as an active team member. The Licensed Vocational Nurse is a care giver who assumes responsibility for a group of patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse and provides care to patients via therapeutic use of self.

• Anesthesia Tech certification preferred,
• CPR required (American Heart Association only)
• Current California LVN license required.
• IV certification, as evidenced on primary source verification of LVN license required.
