🚨 We’re Hiring: Experienced Mental Health Billing Specialist (Illinois | Remote/Hybrid)

Redeemed Billing is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Mental Health Billing Specialist to join our team. We partner with therapy and psychiatry practices across Illinois and pride ourselves on high-touch service, strong compliance, and exceptional follow-through.

Position Type: Full-time (W-2)

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Illinois preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Submit and manage behavioral health insurance claims (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid)
• Follow up on rejections, denials, and underpayments
• Post and reconcile insurance and patient payments
• Verify eligibility and benefits
• Assist with provider credentialing, recredentialing, and payer enrollments
• Communicate with insurance companies and provider offices
• Maintain accurate documentation and account notes
• Support aging A/R cleanup and ongoing claim monitoring

Required Experience

• 2 years of mental/behavioral health billing experience
• Strong understanding of CPT codes, ICD-10, modifiers, and payer rules
• Experience working full revenue cycle (from claim submission to payment)
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple accounts

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience using SimplePractice and/or TherapyNotes (big plus)
• Credentialing and contracting experience
• Illinois payer experience (BCBS IL, Aetna, Cigna, UHC, Medicaid, Medicare, etc.)
