Design Studio Project Manager

RedCloud seeks a Design Studio Project Manager to support immediate client operations.

Location: Remote, United States (Pacific Time working hours)

Overview

This role will be a senior creative project manager with deep experience leading design, motion, and visual identity workstreams, including design systems and executive-facing communications. The ideal candidate is a strong driver who thrives in ambiguity, actively shapes direction, and moves work forward without waiting for perfect inputs.

This is a full-time, remote position within our client’s design studio. The studio is responsible for creating breakthrough creative work and delivering it to market at scale across brand, campaign, executive, and motion-first channels. Success in this role requires hands-on familiarity with how design, motion, and visual systems are conceived, built, iterated, and scaled.

You will partner closely with executive stakeholders, internal marketing and communications leaders, creative directors, designers, motion teams, and external agencies. You must be able to translate high-level vision and executive intent into clear, executable plans, while protecting creative quality and momentum in fast-moving, underdefined environments.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Lead end-to-end creative project management across design, motion, visual identity, and design systems, including executive-facing deliverables.
• Own planning, execution, and delivery of creative work spanning brand systems, campaigns, motion content, and executive communications.
• Build and manage detailed project plans that reflect real-world creative pipelines, including concept development, design iterations, motion development, reviews, QA, and final delivery.
• Define and enforce standards for creative production, including naming conventions, file organization, version control, review cycles, and delivery specifications.
• Partner closely with creative and executive stakeholders to translate strategic intent into executable scopes, timelines, and milestones.
• Lead review and approval processes, ensuring feedback (especially from senior leaders) is clear, aligned, and actionable.
• Identify and proactively address bottlenecks, dependencies, and resourcing risks across design and motion pipelines.
• Balance creative ambition with timelines, scope, and business realities while maintaining creative integrity.
• Continuously improve workflows, templates, and execution models across design, motion, and system-based work.
  
  

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• 6–8 years of creative project management or production experience within a design studio, creative agency, or similar environment.
• Proven experience leading design, motion, visual identity, and design systems workstreams.
• Deeply experienced partnering with designers, motion designers, animators, and producers, with a strong understanding of how creative work moves from concept to final delivery.
• Demonstrated experience navigating executive reviews including drafting of communications. These reviews include executive presentations, leadership storytelling, and high-visibility brand or internal moments that demand precision and polish.
• Fluent in the language of design, motion, and brand systems, with practical knowledge of file structures, versioning, reviews, approvals, and multi-format outputs.
• Strong understanding of creative production lifecycles, tools, and multi-channel delivery requirements.
• Highly organized, action-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
• A self-starting, resilient personality with a bias for action and accountability.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large or enterprise brands.
• Experience using Adobe Workfront or similar creative project management tools.
  
  

Compensation range for this position is $140,400 - $171,600/year DOE.
