Overview
The Customer Story Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end program ownership of customer story production across written, video, and event aligned deliverables. This role partners cross functionally with client stakeholders, customers, legal teams, writers, and agency partners to ensure successful delivery of high visibility customer storytelling assets used in executive communications, field marketing, and global events.
This position requires a proactive, client facing program manager capable of independently managing stakeholder engagement, production timelines, and cross functional alignment within a fast-paced enterprise marketing environment.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Program Ownership & Intake Alignment
- Review Story Requirements Briefs and validate production readiness with internal stakeholders and customers.
- Partner with Executive Producers (EPs) and Writers to develop story outlines and clarify outstanding production inputs.
- Confirm early alignment of customer stories with:
- Solution play priorities
- Campaign or event alignment
- Marketing or leadership initiatives
- Solicit feedback and approval from internal subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Stakeholder Management & Communications
- Schedule and lead customer kickoff calls.
- Manage ongoing communications with:
- Client PM’s
- Customer stakeholders
- Legal and compliance teams
- Agency production partners
- Prepare and track follow ups to maintain production momentum.
- Lead meetings with Studio and client stakeholders to gather updates for:
- Production pipeline
- Capacity planning
- Timeline adjustments
- Production Management & Sequencing
- Own production timelines, sequencing decisions, inputs, reviews, and approvals for assigned customer stories.
- Collaborate with assigned writers to ensure deliverables remain on pace for deadline delivery.
- Identify risks related to production timelines, approvals, or stakeholder inputs.
- Escalate blockers to client FTE team as needed to remove constraints or reset stakeholder expectations.
- Approvals & Publication
- Secure final customer legal approval and any required signed releases for:
- Social amplification
- Logo usage
- Official publication
- Submit finalized stories for publication via marketing services hub.
- Validate content completeness prior to submission to reduce downstream update requests.
- Amplification & Post Production Support
- Collaborate with Social Media stakeholders to support story amplification.
- Assist with post publication updates or stakeholder requests as needed.
- 3 years of experience managing enterprise marketing deliverables (customer stories or similar workstreams).
- Demonstrated ability to lead meetings comprised of multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Experience working with Fortune 500 companies and customer legal teams requiring signed agreements or release approvals.
- Ability to proactively manage communications and production dependencies across cross functional teams.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience supporting enterprise storytelling, advocacy, or field marketing programs.
- Experience working within agency or cross functional marketing environments.

Salary : $104,400 - $127,600
