What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor/ Houseman for Motel position at Red Roof Inn?
5 to 6 days a week 12pm-4:30pm
you will be changing the trash inside and outside of property then you will clean the parking lot and sidewalks and assist maintenance as needed.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Janitor/Houseman to join our hospitality team. Duties
- Restock room supplies such as toiletries and refreshments.
- Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a clean environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with laundry duties such as removing linen from rooms, carpet cleaning, cleaning the windows, cleaning air filters, etc as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and standards is a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care methods.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleaning standards.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timelines.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
