Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or commercial settings. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A background in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are clean and well-presented.
• Manage housekeeping tasks such as floor care, carpet cleaning, and general maintenance of cleanliness standards.
• Prepare meals or assist with cooking duties when required.
• Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and efficiently.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to promote health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively and safely.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to providing high-quality service.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to housekeeping functions.

Pay: $8.00 - $9.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
