Pharmacy Technician – FT/PT - Springville

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:
- Receive, process, and prepare prescription orders for pharmacist verification.
- Accurately count, package, label, and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision.
- Process refills, maintain patient records, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Assist customers with prescription pickups, general questions, and directing clinical concerns to pharmacists.
- Process insurance claims, resolve billing issues, and collect payments.
- Manage medication inventory, including shipments, stocking, expiration checks, and supply orders.
- Follow federal, state, and company pharmacy regulations, including controlled substance procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment.
- Operate pharmacy software, dispensing equipment, and related technology.
- Communicate with pharmacists, providers, and patients to support quality care.
- Protect patient confidentiality and perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:Qualifications
- Active Utah Pharmacy Technician license required.
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work weekends as needed.
