Responsibilities:
- Prepare medications
- Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
- Process prescriptions using computer software
- Label and record dosage information
- Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pharmacy or other related fields
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Must have a pharmacy technician license
- Must have weekend availability
Compensation is dependent on experience.

Qualifications:SPECIFIC PHARMACY TECHNICIAN DUTIES:
- Legal aspects of pharmacy practice and regulations pertaining to technician duties.
- Proper use and safety of medications dispensed.
- Works alongside pharmacist, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Supervise ancillary help such as clerks and drivers.
- Manage inventory and profitability. (Invoicing, purchasing, checking in orders etc.)
- Protects health information (HIPPA).
- Prevent fraud, waste, and abuse.
- Prepares sterile solutions according to USP 797.
- Data entry of orders including computer generated forms and reports.
- Answering phones.
- Receives faxed orders.
- Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy.
- Prepares labels.
- Assembles medication in blister cards and vials.
- Properly bills facility and third party transactions.
- Problem solves with billing and other issues.
- Delivers medication to facilities, patients, and caregivers.
- Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
