We are seeking mission-driven professionals to join Team Red Pulley in supporting Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic (SURFLANT).
Are you an experienced warfare professional ready to influence fleet-level outcomes? We’re seeking an Information Warfare Advisor / Support specialist with expertise in cyber, electronic warfare, and information operations. In this role, you will advise leadership, coordinate across stakeholders, and help shape strategies that strengthen Navy information dominance.
Location: Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic (COMNAVSURFLANT) (CNSL), Naval Base, Norfolk, Virginia
Work Environment: On-site

Minimum/General Experience: 10 years of experience in Navy cyber security, cryptology (CRY), Electronic Warfare (EW), and Information Warfare (IW)
Minimum Education: High School diploma
Qualifications:
- Strong working knowledge of IW, EW, and Intelligence (Intel) systems, platforms, and operational integration for surface combatants.
- Familiarity with Navy IW, EW, and Intel policies, doctrine, and capability development processes.

Experience supporting or coordinating equipment integration, certification, evaluation, and operational readiness activities.
Proven ability to analyze policy changes and assess operational impacts to Fleet stakeholders. - Experience preparing and delivering formal briefings to senior leadership on IW, EW, and Intel readiness, manning, training, and equipping matters.
- Ability to represent the Government in meetings, teleconferences, and video teleconferences as a technical and operational subject matter expert.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of briefing materials, meeting minutes, and visual aids.
- Experience as an Information Warfare Commander (IWC) or equivalent senior IW role is highly desirable.

- Active Secret Security Clearance (preferred)
- Ability to maintain DoD clearance eligibility
Travel Requirements
- Position is primarily based at Naval Station, Norfolk
- Might require periodic travel within a 50-mile radius
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily readiness of Information Warfare (IW), Cryptology (CRY), and Electronic Warfare (EW) issues through official messages, email, tasking, and verbal communications.
- Analyze readiness information and provide timely findings, assessments, and recommendations to the Force Information Warfare Officer (F-IWO) and staff.
- Assess policy changes for operational impact to Fleet stakeholders and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare and deliver recurring formal briefings on IW, EW, and Intel matters affecting manning, training, and equipping of SURFLANT surface combatants.
- Coordinate IW, EW, and Intel capability requirements with USFFC, Fleet Commanders, and Cyber Command in support of deploying forces.
- Coordinate with Strike Group Cryptologic Resource Coordinators and Information Warfare Commanders (IWCs) on IW, EW, and Intel equipment integration, certification, evaluation, and operation.
- Coordinate with In-Service Engineering Agents (ISEA) on IW, EW, and Intel system integration, certification, testing, and operational support.
- Coordinate with Fleet Cyber Command on capability development for experimental IW, EW, and Intel systems across design, development, testing, and fielding phases.
- Coordinate with Fleet Electronic Support Command, Regional Maintenance Centers (RMCs), and ISEAs to support IW, EW, and Intel system operations and logistics for forward-deployed platforms.
- Support development of standardized IW, EW, and Intel tactics, techniques, procedures (TTPs), doctrine, training, and evaluation programs in coordination with Fleet Directors and warfare development organizations.
- Attend and participate in internal and external meetings, teleconferences, and VTCs on behalf of or in support of the F-IWO and staff.
- Document meeting minutes and prepare briefing slides, reports, and visual aids to support leadership decision-making.
