Title: Litigation Paralegal

Established law firm is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal with a minimum of five years’ experience supporting a busy civil litigation practice. Responsibilities and skills include preparation of and responding to discovery on pending litigation; document management and organization; analysis of documents and preparation of same for production; preparing draft judicial council forms for various court-related hearings; preparing attorneys for depositions, including preparation of exhibits, handling of exhibits during remote depositions, summarizing of deposition transcripts; all aspects of trial preparation; communicating with firm personnel, clients, vendors and other third parties; competency in software applications, including word processing, document management software, spreadsheet and database management, e-discovery, timekeeping, and forms programs.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ litigation experience Working knowledge of general legal concepts, terminology, and principles Good project management skills Attention to detail, time management, good judgment, and solid organizational skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Well-developed interpersonal skills High degree of professionalism Experience in law firm practice groups Knowledge of e-discovery software (preferably Disco)Knowledge/understanding of document management systems, preferably iManage Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal certification (prefer both) Offers a highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, inclusive of conventional and unconventional law firm benefits and perks such as:
