Job Description:
This is a full-time remote role for Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney(s) at our Southern and Northern California offices, offering flexible opportunities for work-from-home arrangements. The attorney will handle workers’ compensation cases, provide legal advice, perform in-depth research, and represent clients in hearings and depositions. Responsibilities also include negotiating settlements, drafting legal documents, and keeping clients informed of case progress while adhering to client-specific guidelines and objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Workers’ Compensation Law and Labor and Employment Law
- Attend hearings & depositions
- Demonstrated ability to provide sound Legal Advice and deliver strategic legal solutions
- Excellent Negotiation skills with a focus on achieving cost-effective resolutions
- Current membership in the State Bar of California
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage an active caseload while meeting deadlines
- Experience in Workers’ Compensation Defense is preferred but not required
Pay: $90,612.90 - $200,652.09 per year
