Job Summary
Our client is seeking a high-performing HVAC Service Sales Representative to drive new business and grow planned maintenance contracts across commercial buildings. This is a hunter-style sales role focused on cold outreach, relationship building, and selling recurring HVAC maintenance agreements to facility decision-makers.
You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, engaging property and facility managers, and positioning HVAC planned maintenance solutions that improve building performance, reduce downtime, and extend equipment life.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, cold call, and generate new HVAC service and maintenance contract opportunities
- Develop and manage relationships with facility managers, property managers, and building engineers
- Sell planned HVAC maintenance agreements and service solutions
- Conduct needs assessments and present tailored service offerings
- Develop and execute territory-based sales strategies
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity in CRM systems
- Coordinate with service operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
- Respond to inbound inquiries and follow up on leads promptly
- Represent client professionally in client meetings and site visits
Qualifications
- 3–10 years of B2B sales experience (preferably HVAC, mechanical, or facility services)
- Strong knowledge or exposure to HVAC systems and commercial building equipment
- Proven success in cold calling and new business development
- Experience selling service contracts, maintenance agreements, or recurring revenue solutions
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce or similar)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Highly organized with strong time management skills

- Background in HVAC service sales or commercial facility services
- Experience selling into hospitals, schools (K-12), high-rise buildings, or commercial properties
