The Account Manager will report directly to the COO and will be responsible for promoting and selling our client’s International Freight Forwarding and Logistics services, while actively managing both new and existing customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ocean freight, airfreight, and operational logistics. Candidates MUST have international freight experience.

Key Responsibilities of the Account Manager:
- Identify and pursue potential clients through proactive prospecting and lead qualification.
- Develop and manage new and existing accounts to ensure continued revenue growth and profitability.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets through dedicated performance.
- Design and implement tailored strategies to address customer needs and achieve satisfaction.
- Propose effective logistics solutions based on client requirements.
- Coordinate customer needs with appropriate logistical services and solutions.
- Foster and maintain strong customer relationships to effectively resolve any issues.
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Prepare for and attend client meetings, ensuring a focus on customer satisfaction and relationship-building.
- Handle incoming sales inquiries and respond in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills of the Account Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales within the logistics services industry.
- Strong knowledge of the freight forwarding industry.
- Experience with international freight is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent business development and negotiation abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
