The Senior Financial Analyst supports the Financial Planning & Analytics team by developing and analyzing financial data, managing expense models, and partnering with business leaders to drive informed decision-making. This role leads monthly variance reporting, supports budgeting and forecasting, and collaborates cross-functionally to ensure accurate, timely financial insights.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and improve driver-based expense models and financial planning tools (Workday Adaptive).
- Partner with business leaders to translate operations into actionable financial forecasts.
- Develop, monitor, and update annual budgets and roll forecasts.
- Prepare monthly variance analysis and support close activities (accruals, reclasses).
- Produce recurring reports and dashboards using advanced financial modeling.
- Prepare financial materials for leadership and board reviews.
- Provide guidance on expense coding and financial processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Perform ad hoc analysis as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
- 5 years of FP&A or financial modeling experience; CPA a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and business partnering.
- Advanced Excel skills (including VBA) and strong PowerPoint proficiency.
- Experience with Adaptive Planning or similar tools preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
