As the Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following:
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and provide oversight of Key Performance Indicator response
- Supervise a team of Quality Technician
- Provide launch support for Quality Processes
- Conduct Internal Audits, including QMS and LPA
- Conduct training on Quality processes and support applications
- Assure compliance and cross reference of the QMS to IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and industry standards, customer specific requirements, and all regulatory requirements
- Review companywide quality of corrective action responses and identify opportunities for teaching and coaching, and for system improvements
- Involved in Multi-disciplinary Five Phase Problem Solving Teams that directly drives the company's continuous improvement process and policies
- Enforce company policies/procedures and corresponding work instructions
- Responsible for torque click inspections and verifying fasteners are in place and in adherence to policy
- Processing of scrap for the facility
- Perform containment processes in event of quality defects
- Use calibrated lab equipment and other tools to verify product characteristics and attributes
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of a High School Diploma is required
- Third Party Logistics / Warehousing/Distribution experience is highly preferred
- Three ( ) years’ Automotive Supplier or Warehousing/Distribution Operations experience is highly preferred
- Three ( ) years’ required experience with Quality processes to include: PFMEA, APQP, PPAP
- Three ( ) years’ required experience with Compliance and regulatory requirements to include: IATF 16949, ISO 9001
- Experience with SAP is a plus
- Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have a mechanical aptitude in reference to measuring, gauging, and inspection of parts
- Must be well versed in error proofing
- Must have excellent leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
