**Overview**
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team in our cannabis food production facility. As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the production of edibles.
Shift: 2:30PM - 12:30AM M-TH (Four 10-hour days)
60-90 day review to adjust pay based on performance.
**Duties**
- Perform various tasks in a food production environment, including taking candies out of molds, placing candy through cutting machine, operating wrapping machine to wrap candies, and packaging candies and labeling them for sale.
- Follow all relevant regulations, including MED and health department standards, to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Operate cutting and wrapping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with production team members to achieve production goals and optimize processes.
- Perform quality control checks on food products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Assist cook in cleaning tasks at the end of the day.
**Experience**
- Prior experience in the food industry or a related field is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods is required.
-Experience with manufacturing and/or packaging is helpful.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
**Skills**
- Experience in food production or processing plants.
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines and regulations.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well with others and be a positive team player.
