Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls from members and credit union representatives.
- Assist with claim-related questions, troubleshooting, and escalations.
- Guide members through the vehicle service agreement and educate them on coverage details.
- Help members locate repair facilities that work with their coverage.
- Coordinate rental car arrangements when needed.
- Document and manage major claim-related tasks, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide a unified and positive customer service experience.
- Maintain an average call volume of up to 50 calls per day.
- Proactively build and support strong member relationships through responsive service and clear communication.
- Required:
- Previous call center customer service experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Typing speed of at least 25 WPM.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Preferred:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Experience with vehicle warranties or automotive service.
- Familiarity with auto repair terminology or procedures.
- Hybrid schedule with in-office presence every Tuesday.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods while using standard office equipment.
- Must be able to talk on the phone and work on a computer for extended periods.
- Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with occasional Saturday shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
