This Logistics Specialist I is responsible for coordinating and scheduling fabrication and warehouse logistics in a timely, efficient, and safe manner while supporting the Logistics Manager. The ideal candidate will be organized, safety-focused, and comfortable balancing multiple scheduling priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This Logistics Specialist I is responsible for coordinating and scheduling fabrication and warehouse logistics in a timely, efficient, and safe manner while supporting the Logistics Manager. Responsibilities
- Schedule drivers, vehicles, trailers, and routes to ensure safe and timely deliveries of tools, fabrication materials, and equipment to assigned locations.
- Maintain a forward-looking delivery schedule and communicate daily updates to all drivers and associated field, operations, and job team members.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of all logistics delivery vehicles and rented/leased trailers.
- Issue purchase orders and provide bills of lading for third-party delivery services as needed during high-demand periods.
- Ensure all logistics assets are compliant and functional, including systems such as Big Road, CellControl, Ryder, and Penske.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize routes, schedules, and delivery efficiency.
- Perform additional assignments as requested by the Logistics Manager.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a logistics, shipping, or receiving environment.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical projects and related tools and equipment a plus.
- Strong data-entry and computer skills; ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with solid customer service focus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to safety regulations.
- Highly organized and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
