Logistics Specialist I

RealREPP, a full-service recruiting firm, is currently teaming with a growing, stable, and nationally recognized building systems expert to assist them in hiring a Logistics Specialist I in [location].

This Logistics Specialist I is responsible for coordinating and scheduling fabrication and warehouse logistics in a timely, efficient, and safe manner while supporting the Logistics Manager. The ideal candidate will be organized, safety-focused, and comfortable balancing multiple scheduling priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule drivers, vehicles, trailers, and routes to ensure safe and timely deliveries of tools, fabrication materials, and equipment to assigned locations.
• Maintain a forward-looking delivery schedule and communicate daily updates to all drivers and associated field, operations, and job team members.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of all logistics delivery vehicles and rented/leased trailers.
• Issue purchase orders and provide bills of lading for third-party delivery services as needed during high-demand periods.
• Ensure all logistics assets are compliant and functional, including systems such as Big Road, CellControl, Ryder, and Penske.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize routes, schedules, and delivery efficiency.
• Perform additional assignments as requested by the Logistics Manager.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a logistics, shipping, or receiving environment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical projects and related tools and equipment a plus.
• Strong data-entry and computer skills; ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with solid customer service focus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to safety regulations.
• Highly organized and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
