Director of IT Applications
$145-160k bonus
Job Summary
We are looking for a Director of IT Applications to design, operate, and maintain technology products and provide services related to software, hardware, databases, networks and enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
Coordinate IT application projects for the whole organization within the guidelines set forth by the Company's CIO and other IT Directors
Continuously assess application utilization to ensure requirements and demands are being met
Work with external partners for the correct implementation and integration of new systems
Assist with implementation of new software and provide technical support to employees
Provide SAP technical support and guidance to decision makers to facilitate how to best represent business objectives and goals
Facilitate the process of gathering and documenting business requirements
Schedule Quality Assurance activities to verify requirements have been met
Facilitate communication between all groups involved to coordinate the transfer of technical specifications
Requirements
Excellent IT, communication, leadership and management skills
Substantial experience working with various software and hardware types
Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
At least 5 years of experience managing people and projects within a medium to large sized enterprise, preferably a manufacturer of consumer goods
At least 5 years of experience in developing, testing and implementing programs and processes in SAP
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field
Industry certifications, Masters or advanced level course work is preferred
Essential Mental Functions
Must be detailed in the creation or review of IT policies and technical documents
Must be detailed in his/her work taking special precautions with regards to safety and security
Be open and honest with fellow staff members to ensure the quality of work performed while fostering an open, honest and ethical work environment
Equipment Used
PCs, Printers, Fax Machines, Switches, Phones, Smart Phones, and Servers
